Spring has sprung and there are just four markets left! Stop by Saturday to pick up starts for your garden and get rid of that clutter, too!

RecycleForce will be accepting "anything with a cord"
at our recycling drive outside the IWFM! From old TVs and computers, to recyclables like cardboard and glass, get rid of it at the market! See the full list here.

Support the IWFM and enjoy a tasty meal at Monday's Punch Burger IWFM Kickback Night! Eat at the downtown restaurant between 4-9 p.m., and 15 percent of the profits will go toward the IWFM! Invite friends here!

Keep reading for more on rain barrels at the IWFM, the story behind Harvest Cafe Coffee and this week's yoga class with a Pilates twist!

How can you make the most of April showers? By installing a rain barrel or two!

Circle City Rain Barrels will be at the IWFM this Saturday and next Saturday with their upcycled barrels -- 55-gallon food-grade drums and 55-gallon bourbon oak barrels

These BPA- and chemical-free containers are the perfect addition to almost any garden. The water collected provides an ample supply of free "soft water" containing no chlorine, lime or calcium, making it ideal for gardens, flowers or potted plants! In edible gardens, use rain barrel water only at the roots of plants. Check out pictures, prices and more on the Circle City Rain Barrels website!

Harvest Cafe Coffee Company, 5th season at IWFM

We're committed to providing our customers with the finest roasted coffees at the very peak of freshness. Our roastmaster has perfected the fine art of selecting only the very finest green coffees from all over the globe, and small batch roasting them to release the distinctive characteristics of each origin of coffee. Even the most discriminating palate will savor the aroma, flavor and intensely gratifying experience of a freshly roasted cup of Harvest Caf Coffee & Tea coffee.

Most popular item?

Our biggest seller is our Black Magic coffee. It is a robust blend of steep traditional roasts and rich wood coffees.

Why should people shop at the IWFM?

The IWFM supports local small businesses, which is the heart of our city and state.

What do you buy at the IWFM?

We always buy eggs, and we also buy local meat.

See this week's full list of vendors here!

We've been lucky to have Carolyn Doyle with The Indianapolis Star visit the IWFM this season! She has some great ideas on how to use your tasty market finds, from a fresh take on peas and mushrooms, to a spicy sweet potato gratin. Check out the recipes:

What have you made with your market finds? Post pics on Facebook or tweet us at @IndyWFMkt!

For yoga with a Pilates twist, we're excited to have Glenna Nall, Pilates Coordinator at Invoke Studio, lead our 50-minute, by-donation yoga class this week!

Join us at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Indy Bike Hub YMCA in the east wing of the City Market. Your
suggested donation of $8
benefits Growing Places Indy's Eat Well Initiative to match SNAP dollars used at the market!

Thank you to Invoke Studio for sponsoring the IWFM + Yoga Series! You can find more information and a list of upcoming teachers here.
