In the past year, we have seen a wave of rising voices in our society through movements like "Me Too" and "Time's Up." We've heard many calls for change in the workplace regarding sexual harassment, equal pay, and other roadblocks to gender equity.

Building a culture of respect and equal opportunity is not a cause for women to champion alone. Including men's voices  is crucial to accelerating change: We need male allies in our companies who are true advocates for women leaders. We need men who actively work to eliminate gender bias and recognize their own critical role in the equation, even when women aren't in the room. Fortunately, there are men like our panelists who are stepping up.

This panel discussion focuses on taking a deep dive into how women and men can work together as allies to minimize gender disparities. We will ask difficult questions to spark an authentic conversation about how to make more meaningful progress toward being "better together" at work.

Our theme for March is Stepping Up!  Spring is just around the corner, and that means time for new growth and spring cleaning. Sometimes we need to do mental spring cleaning, too. Last month you stayed focused , but now what cobwebs need to be cleared from your mental space in order for you to step up to your potential? What items on your checklist have you been avoiding; what conversations have you been saving for later? Step up to the challenge and write down three mental cobwebs that you will clear this month - whether personal or professional - so that you can move forward confidently. Hang that list on your mirror, at your desk, or even on your refrigerator - wherever you will see it and be reminded to step up and take on those hurdles that are holding you back!
