Let's Wine About It: Event and Grant Opportunity
Junior Chamber International Indianapolis 

At The Speakeasy, JCI will be hosting Let's Wine About It (LWAI), an evening of wine tasting combined with the presentation of sustainable community solutions projects. Up to 5 finalists will have the opportunity to present their "whine" - or their community problem - as well as their proposed solution to the problem. Event attendees will vote on the project they view as most deserving of a $5,000 grant to solve the identified issue.
 
This grant is available to any individual or organization that identifies a problem in the Indianapolis community and a sustainable way to help resolve that problem. Learn more with the link below.

Our last networking event, "Work Life Balance + Wellness" had me feeling refreshed, grounded, and motivated. The ladies from DNK Presents - a company that, "provides people with the opportunity to get out and explore nature in a safe and fun atmosphere" - led ten of us on a "netwalking" hike in Holliday Park. Throughout the hike we participated in activities focused on mindfulness, visualization, and active listening. The group, comprised of friends and strangers alike, quickly opened up and bonded over this different kind of networking. Read more.
