IF NOT NOW, WHEN:
KI STANDS WITH THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS

Hurricane Harvey has inflicted unprecedented suffering and damage in its wake.
Both the level of loss of life and property damage is rising and has not peaked.  Years ago, we rallied after Katrina. More recently, many of us saw first hand the damage inflicted by Sandy. This is a true national emergency!

As a synagogue community, we not only want to demonstrate our solidarity with the people of Texas, we strongly believe that our tradition demands that we not be bystanders at this critically important moment, but active in our support of those who have lost so much.

There are many ways you can help.  To help you do the mitzvah of good citizenship,
here are several suggestions for places for you to send a donation. We, KI’s Senior Staff, urge all of you to give and to give generously.
