"If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it you surely will."
-Abraham Lincoln

Funny how that works. When you are mad at someone you think of all their bad qualities and none of their good. When you are happy with them you think only of the good in them and ignore the rest. And they do this with us as well.

This concept works in our view on life and our challenges as well, whether we notice it or not, in both directions. If we look for the good in our lives we surely will find it, and can build on it.

Focus on what you want and what is good and move towards it. Help others by bringing out the best in them and they will do the same for you. After all, it's our life and it's up to us to make the most of it. If we really want to do that, seeing the best in others and helping them to make the most of their lives is a great place to start.
