Dear friends of LOVE,

We hope you'll join us for our annual photo auction 'Images of LOVE'. An elegant and hip cocktail party with delicious hors d'oeuvres, music and youth performances and photographs. For the past 7 years, the professional photographic community has been so generous to LOVE by donating a stunning collection of photographs to be auctioned off both in a silent and in a spirited live auction format. Also returning this year is 'Shop in the name of LOVE', with items donated by many NYC retailers offering dinners, sports tickets, beauty and fashion items and one of a kind priceless experiences.

This event covers most of the costs for LOVE's proprietary programs for the year. This includes sending LOVE kids to Leadership Camp, funding the film, photography and journalism program, Leadership Training and Outreaches to local high schools. It supports the purchase of equipment, video cameras, digital cameras and computer software for workshops in our core program and in NYC schools.  

As you may know, LOVE is a growing NYC non-profit organization that aims to rescue at risk teenagers who have suffered from violence, either as victims, witnesses or perpetrators from being swept further into that world.  Utilizing photography and writing programs and multi-media, LOVE works with these young people to overcome difficult challenges and create new opportunities so that they may lead successful lives.
