UPDATE: 7 July 2014
UPDATE: We have been made aware that the results of diagnositc tests taken last month reveal that Imam Jamil is suffering from multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells). His spirits remain high and he sends greetings of peace and thanks to all who have and are advocating on his behalf. May Allah give him patience and ease his suffering.
It is imperative that Imam Jamil immediately be moved to a facility that can provide the high quality and specialty care that his condition requires. This is our advocacy.
OUR ADVOCACY:
As is his right, Mr. Jamil Al-Amin (#99974-555) should immediately be moved to a facility qualified and staffed to treat his diagnosed and life-threatening medical condition: multiple mycloma (blood cancer).
