Last Friday, Lee Walkup and Bryan Krumdiack (pictured above) flew to California to help Pastor Tim and his family move to Bellingham. The plan was for Bryan and Lee to drive the moving truck while Tim, Melanie, and the kids drove up on their own. The truck left Van Nuys, Calf. on Saturday morning and arrived in Bellingham on Sunday afternoon. Bryan and Lee took turns driving and made great time. Thanks to a wonderful work crew from Immanuel, the Counts family arrived on Wednesday to a home that had all of their things unloaded, beds made, some furniture in place, food in the fridge, and fresh flowers saying, "Welcome." We praise God for His faithfulness in the Counts' safe arrival!

 

This Sunday will be Pastor Tim's first Sunday serving at Immanuel Bible Church. He will teach a combined middle school and high school Sunday School class and join us for the Morning Worship service. We are having our monthly Tags and Treats after the service so you will have an opportunity to visit with them.

Family Ministries BBQ This Sunday



If you are a family with at least one child 18 or under we would love for you to join the Youth and Family Ministries Fall Kick-off BBQ with Pastor Tim Counts on Sunday, August 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pohlman's. 

 

Bring a side dish along with your swimsuit and towel because the waterfront will be open with lifeguards and a boat driver for fun on the lake! For any questions please call the office at 360.733.0672.

 
Fall Sunday School



Sunday School is a wonderful time to grow in our understanding of the gospel and connect with other people in faith-buliding fellowship.

 

Classes for all ages meet at 9:00am every Sunday morning. Fall quarter classes start on September 2nd.

Women's Bible Study


 

Women's Bible study begins September 17. This year's Bible study will be Nancy Guthrie's "The Wisdom of God: Seeing Jesus in the Psalms and Wisdom Books." 

 

This in-depth study of the Old Testament Wisdom Literature of the Bible will help you understand it in the way that Jesus Himself taught the disciples to read and understand the Old Testament: with Him at the center.
