Immediate Action Needed!

Contact the TN Department of Environment and Conservation
by Monday, August 18th and ask for a public meeting to discuss the reassessment of the City of Franklin's water withdrawal permit.

Contact Information:  [email protected]

  • The City of Franklin already obtains the majority of its drinking water from the Harpeth Valley Utilities District (on the Cumberland River) and gets 100% of its drinking water from HVUD reliably whenever Franklin's small, old plant is not operational.
  • Let the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) know that you want a public hearing so your voice can be heard.
