At a packed reception of 400 members and guests at The Phoenix downtown, Impact 100 announced the FOUR 2017 Grant Recipients.  Each organization received a $101,000 grant to fund a significant, transformative project.  This marks the third year Impact 100 has had membership sufficient to fund four grants and brings the Impact 100 investment in the tri-state regional community to $4 Million since its inception.

The four Grant Recipients and their projects are:

OHIO VALLEY VOICES - Audiology Clinic Expansion

NORTHERN KENTUCKY COMMUNITY ACTION COMMISSION (NKCAC) - Lincoln Grant Scholar House
Equip the new living facility with technology and computer equipment and IT support, providing single mothers pursuing post-secondary educations (and their children) an affordable living option and access to appropriate support programs to break the cycle of generational poverty.

LIGHTHOUSE YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES - Lighthouse Community School Agricultural Learning Center

FIRST STEP HOME - The Terry Schoenling Home for Mothers and Infants Program
Expand pilot program supporting pregnant women who are opiate-addicted and their newborn baby through addiction treatment, postnatal classes, and wraparound services 2-3 weeks pre-birth and 30 days post-birth, affecting 136-166 lives annually.

The three other finalists were:

CINCINNATI SHAKESPEARE COMPANY - Education Program Expansion

CHILDREN'S HOME OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY -  Technology Upgrade to Support Improved Healthcare Treatment
