RIBBON CUTTING & OPEN HOUSE ON DECEMBER 4th

One of our newer members is celebrating on December 4th at two times during that day.
The Chamber will hold the Ribbon Cutting at 10:00am at Carol Stream Wellness & Professional Center at 640 E. St. Charles Road, Carol Stream.
Later that evening from 5:30 to 8:30pm, members, friends, and the community are invited for an Open House with networking, food, and complimentary adult beverages.

| HOLIDAY SOCIAL - DECEMBER 10th |

Our "m
ain event" for the month of December is the Holiday Social. One of three chamber fundraisers, this event is a time for celebrating the season, networking, and more.
There will be a Spirits Pull -- where you buy a $20 'chip' which will correspond to one of the many bottles displayed in front of you. They are all worth more, some over $50.
Grab three others and make a team for The Challenge w
here you can try to win $400 for your team -- do the math...it's $100 each.
We are looking for more sponsors and donors of items for the Silent Auction. Our attendees usually do some holiday shopping at this event.
Most importantly, WE WANT YOU to attend. For your $20 admission fee, you'll have all the above as well as a buffet, drinks, a black light photo op, and networking. The Christmas Tree in the room will be decorated with ornaments signifying donations to the Chamber Foundation. Join us! Sign up for all the fun here. Happy Holidays!

SHOP THE CHAMBER FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS

This time of year, specialty shopping days are denoted by a certain day of the week -- Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday.
In the Chamber, we would like you to consider Chamberday as any day of the week, month, or year you may have a need and try to find a supplier to fill that need.
You've heard us say it over and over...SHOP THE CHAMBER. We are broader than one cause or one day. We hope you'll use fellow chamber members ANY day and maybe even EVERY day.
Certainly this time of the year, your needs are great. Some of the needs that can be filled using chamber members are:
- Need a place to put your overflow of holiday guests?
- Want to go out for a meal - -breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
- Is your carpet dirty and in need of some work?
- Do you need just a few more holiday decorations - inside or out?
- You need pampering!! (or maybe someone does as a gift)
- HOW can you support Non-profits in the community with your donations?
- Need a new car or to get your vehicle ready for real winter?
- Want to purchase your gift cards for: shopping/mall, gasoline, dining out, coffee, facials, nails?
- Take your staff out for sandwiches or pizza.
- Buy your favorite technology-lover the latest equipment or get yours updated.

| FIVE STAR EXPO CELEBRATES 20 YEARS! |
February 5, 2016 will be the 20th anniversary of the Five Star Business & Health Expo. Held at Medinah Shrine Center from 10:00am until 3:00pm, this expo has been THE place to be and have an exhibitor booth. We have limited space available for booths and four chambers are involved (Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale & Carol Stream) so start planning by going to the site and getting the form here. NEED TO HIRE? POST YOUR JOBS....

Chamber members are invited and encouraged to post any job openings through our website at no cost. It's free and easy! Go to
www.chamberlogin.com and login. In the left margin you will see JOB POSTINGS. Click on that, then click on the blue button ADD JOB POSTING near the top.
Be sure to update your info while you were in there. If you are the Primary Rep for your company to the chamber, you can add information -- click on COMPANY INFORMATION and then on WEBSITE to put in all the links to your Social Media sites. Then, when visitors come to your page on the chamber website, your links will be there for them to click and LIKE you.
There are always changes, so be sure to come back and see what you would like to freshen up.
