STATE OF THE VILLAGE LUNCHEON 5/11
wordle, state of the village
One of the most popular luncheon each year is our annual "State of the Village" where Mayor Frank Saverino, Sr. and staff give an update on all things Carol Stream.

Besides a presentation, we will also have the Mini-Expo before the luncheon and after. Tables are $50 and include one lunch -- a great way to raise your visibility.

Don't miss the opportunity to promote your business to residents and business owners via the Community Guide and Business Directory.

The chamber is working with Town Square Publications/Daily Herald to bring this publication to life. If you want pricing on ads, contact Linda Dickson at 630.765.2125 or email her here.
MULTI-CHAMBER AFTER HOURS ON MAY 19th
Our May After Hours will be a joint event with the Bartlett Chamber and will be held on Thursday, May 19th at Balance Family Chiropractic. Bring a friend or associate. Maybe you'll win the eNewsletter Spotlight! Someone will.

WOMEN IN BUSINESS NEWS

The Women In Business "Tables of Interest" was a lot of fun for those who attended. We had 64 business professionals networking and building new relationships at Glendale Lakes Golf Club.

Our next WIB event will be the July 22nd luncheon at John & Tony's. We will have Deb Battersby from Success Matrix with us speaking about "Making Champions: Unlocking the Secrets to Championship Results for Yourself and Your Team" -- join us by signing up here.

Don't forget to save the date for the 10th annual  "What Women Want" Expo at the Holiday Inn & Suites on Friday, September 23rd. Click here for the Expo application.

FUNDRAISER FOR SCHOLARSHIPS - CS CHAMBER FOUNDATION
The Carol Stream Chamber Foundation is a 501(C)3 created to allow donors to benefit from tax deductions allowed by the law. Each Spring, the Scholarship Committee interviews candidates who apply for college scholarships.

In order to help our local students, the Foundation has set up a series of fundraisers during 2016. Our next ones  will be held at Village Tavern & Grill on May 18th and 25th. If you would like to help, you can dine in and must bring this flyer  so that the organization will receive a percentage of the profits.

-> Watch for the blue & white Collection cans at our lunches and our events, where you are invited to drop some change or more to add towards this scholarship effort.

We also thank everyone who has made a donation on their renewal invoices. Thank you!

GOLF OUTING WILL TAKE US BACK TO GOLF'S "ROOTS"

We may not be physically traveling to St. Andrew Golf Club in Scotland, but what better theme to play on than a Scottish theme.

SAVE THE DATE for the annual Golf "Classic" where you can enjoy the company of fellow business professionals and raise the visibility of your business - THURSDAY, JULY 28t h is the date and Klein Creek Golf Club is the place.

We will be on the lookout for:
  • Golfers
  • Sponsors
  • Volunteers
  • Prize donors
  • Raffle ticket purchasers -- Grand Prize: Liquor Cart once again (it was popular!)
  • Dinner attendees

A mailing and emailing will be done in the near future so you can be sure not to miss this chamber fundraiser......also known to be a FUN-raiser!
