Friday Field Trip to Nashville Temple

On Friday, Feb. 2, we will be attending a traditional jewish worship service together as an extension of our year-long confirmation experience. We ask that everyone arrive at Cook's by 5pm so that we can arrive on time for the service. We ask that everyone dress "business casual" (no jeans, shorts, or t-shirts). Please also refrain from wearing Christian attire or jewelry to avoid being offensive.

Super Sunday Service Opportunity

On Super Bowl Sunday, we will be going together to Providence Place Assisted Living ( 1020 Charlie Daniels Pkwy ) for an afternoon service opportunity. We know that this will be a Super awesome service experience so we hope everyone can join us and love on our elderly neighbors.

We will not have youth or a Super Bowl party on the evening of Feb. 4.

Ash Wednesday Service

We will not have normal youth activities on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14. We strongly encourage all of our youth to come and attend the Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 in the Sanctuary. For all those who do attend, we will have a time of youth fellowship before and after the service in the CYM Room.

Teen Parenting Resources

The headline screams, “Millennials Leaving the Church in Droves!” It’s enough to make a parent fear for their child’s faith. Is there anything we can do to turn the tide for our child? Mission Trip 2018

This summer we will be returning to Texas for a mission trip, however this time we'll be going to Dallas.

June 24-30, we will spend time serving in the Arlington area. This will be a joint mission trip with the youth ministry at Grace UMC, and I'm confident this will be a wonderful and memorable experience. Please save the dates on your calendar and be on the lookout for more information soon.

Spring Confirmation Retreat Change

We have made a change to our plans for this spring. We originally planned to do our own Confirmation retreat in April, however we since learned that a Confirmation retreat was being offered by the TN Conference with the Bishop and area pastors serving as leaders on the same weekend.

We will send out a link to register for this retreat in the coming weeks, however the dates are April 13-15, and the retreat will be held at Cedar Crest Camp near Dickson, TN. We hope everyone will attend!
