In advance of a major addition to the service offerings provided by the Empire Page, the National News page will no longer be produced starting Saturday February 11, 2012.
The Empire Page in partnership with NY StateWatch will be launching a new advanced service in the very near future. It is to free up resources to provide that service that we will cease offering links to national news stories.
The Empire Page will, however, continue to provide links to news stories, editorials and columns on NYS government and politics from national news outlets.
