Dear Parents,
 
Co-Op Summer is about to start and we are so excited to be working with your kids.  This year, all of the students will be engaged in extremely active, project-based learning experiences.  The program will be high energy to promote learning through fun and curiosity.
 
Here are some important details:

  • Program dates: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 3pm from July 5 - August 11, 2017
  • Drop off each morning is at 8:30am in the all purpose room across from the office.  You must enter from the playground side.
  • Pick up is outside on the playground at 3pm.  All students MUST be signed out via their counselor.  Students who are allowed to walk home alone must sign out with their counselor.
  • Parking is in the back lot and all side streets
  • All students must bring a small backpack each day.  In the bag, please have: a bagged lunch, a water bottle and a towel
  • All children should come to Co-Op wearing their bathing suit.
  • All children should come to Co-Op wearing sunscreen.
  • All children must wear their Co-Op t-shirt everyday.  T-shirts and any pre-ordered Co-Op items will be available for pick up on Tuesday, June 27th @ 3pm and Thursday, June 29th @ 3pm
  • We will provide a healthy snack every day
  • If your child needs to take medication during the program day, please visit Nurse Lukas at MAS immediately to complete the required forms.
 
Over the summer, you will get Co-Op newsletters from us and updates on your child’s activity schedule.  Each student will be in a group of no more than 15 students organized by grade.  Each group is lead by a head counselor and an assistant counselor.
 
We expect all students to have perfect attendance.  This program is provided at a subsidized cost to all families in order to support your child’s growth.  Attendance is important for your child’s success.  We will be recording your child’s attendance.  It is extremely important that you inform us if you child is going to be absent for any reason.
