It is gratifying when respected national organizations recognize what we, as VBA members, have known for many years. Once again, our VBA's
Young Lawyers Division received multiple awards from the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division in its annual Awards of Achievement competition.
The YLD received four national awards, including First Place in the "Comprehensive" category. Because that category considers both the range and success of a bar association's projects serving the bar and the public, the award validates the vision and dedication of our young lawyers to the mission of the VBA. It is the
eighth year in a row that the YLD has been named first or second place in the Comprehensive category.

Throughout 2015, the VBA has emphasized how the YLD fosters and cultivates young leaders. The current YLD is proving that point. So, please take a VBA Minute and congratulate all our young lawyers who contributed to the success that led to these well-deserved national awards.
