Dear Tuesday's Children Friends and Supporters,

Happy New Year! We are only three weeks into the New Year and our program team is already putting exciting, new programs into action.

Our agenda this year includes many of our well-known programs and events, as well as our newly formatted Career Resource Center. Developed from our previous career guidance initiatives, the Career Resource Center will include informational seminars, one-on-one strategic sessions, group panel discussions, resume building workshops and career shadow and networking opportunities for eager participants. Our first program, an Internship and Job Workshop, took place on January 5th, during which participants had the opportunity to meet with top professionals from a variety of fields to learn best practices and new strategies for job seeking.

Megan, a junior at Bucknell University, said, "...I learned a lot of helpful information that I can use in the coming months for my internship search. I really enjoyed Barbara's interviewing portion; it made me much more relaxed about the whole interviewing process...I really enjoyed the whole program and am so glad I had the opportunity to attend."

Be sure to visit our calendar for upcoming Tuesday's Children programs and fundraising events for 2012. You can also learn about past programs and events on our website and in this newsletter in the 'recap' section.
