Inspiring all girls

NOVEMBER 2017
WITH YOU IN HER CORNER...SHE WILL SUCCEED.
Please Help Us Meet Our 2017 Challenge Grant for
Critical Infrastructure Needs
We are just $30,000 away from meeting our $75,000 Challenge Grant in 2017 and we need your help!

The grant opportunity will allow Girls Inc. to address its critical infrastructure needs like outdated technology and an aging transportation fleet. Donations of all sizes are needed and welcomed to help us meet this year's matching goal. Contact CEO Barbara Ben-Horin at 805-963-4757 to learn more about our critical needs and how your donation can go twice as far.
Vans with 150,000+ miles on them, servers that burn up...maybe not exciting stuff, but absolutely essential to our ability to provide our programming and services to girls and their families.

At last month's Girls Inc. National Conference in Newport, CA, Girls Inc. affiliates from the U.S. and Canada adopted the new advocacy agenda, which is the result of a year's worth of research and hearing from girls on the issues that are most important to them. The areas of focus for 2017-2020 are:
Combat Bullying, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Violence
Promote Access to Education & Economic Independence
Support Girls' Mental Health
Advance Reproductive Justice
