August 2nd, 1959 - January 5th, 2012

Keryn Scott, age 52, of Tulsa passed on January 5th at 3:10 am. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. for many years. In 1998 she became an advocate for people infected with HIV/AIDS and worked teaching HIV prevention to students, correctional inmates, civic groups and those in drug recovery facilities in Arkansas, Oklahoma & Florida. Keryn settled in Tulsa in 2004. She is survived by her partner of 16 years, Margie Adams, and her four children:
 

Daughter - Dawn (Williamson) Keely of Santa Barbara, California
Son - Bill Williamson of Little Rock, Arkansas
 

Son - Patrick Williamson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 

Son - Chris Archer of Jacksonville, Florida

Step-Daughter - Patricia Young of Jacksonville, Florida

Keryn also leaves behind 9 grandchildren as well as a host of friends and extended family. 

 

A memorial service will be held on January 8th

at Community of Hope Church located at 

2545 S. Yale Ave. at 2 pm.
