REALTORS "Move the Vote"
CMR has just launched a new voter registration campaign, "Central Mississippi REALTORS® Move the Vote!" Today, there are nearly 80,000 unregistered voters in Hinds, Madison & Rankin. Here's how you can help:
Take a MS Voter Registration form with you to every closing table. Forms should be updated each time a voter relocates or changes addresses.
"I'm not going to present your offer since it doesn't include a pre-qualification letter."
Sure you are. To be in compliance with both license law and the Code of Ethics all written offers MUST be presented. A seller might want a pre-qualification letter as a prerequisite to accepting an offer, but a listing agent can't refuse to present an offer because it doesn't contain the letter. And further, the listing agent can't refuse to present an offer that contains language the listing agent believes the seller might not accept. All offers must be presented.
Are you conducting your business in a way that keeps you safe? Sign up for this free safety webinar to learn from Tamara Suminski, NAR REALTOR® Safety Course Instructor, as she explains how to mitigate risks by building better business relationships, and the importance of following safety protocols.
The REALTOR® Safe Harbor Program
A free service that allows local businesses to pledge their reception/lobby areas as "safe harbors" for agents.
