Worship with Us this Week!

Join us this Sunday morning for Traditional Worship at 9:30am and/or Informal Worship at 11:00am when our scriptures will be
Genesis 28:10-19a; Psalm 139: 1-18; and Matthew 7:24-27 with a sermon entitled In This Place. Jacob had an experience of God so he built a stone tower - a sacred pillar - to remember that holy place and that significant moment. We will talk through some of our God experiences... which are the kinds of rocks that Jesus encourages us to build our houses upon.

Young PUCCer Josie Duke is Annie in theOverdue Theatre Company's presentation of 'Annie' at the Olivet Community Center the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August!
Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Annie is the perfect family-friendly musical and an ideal show for a largely female cast. We hope to see you there!
You can buy tickets at the door or through Brown Paper Tickets. Ticket purchasers have the option to get tickets at will call or print them at home.

VIDEO of the Week
Sometimes people tell us things that act as roadblocks, obstacles in our path that can break us. Other times we are able to find courage and stamina to overcome those challenges. Check out this brief (less than two minutes) video that will encourage you!
