Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) - April 21 in Trenton

Today, NASW-NJ has brought together professional social workers and social work students from across New Jersey for LEAD at the Statehouse in Trenton. They will hear from experts speaking on lobbying for legislative and policy change, advocating for the social work profession, and information about legislation important to social workers.

MSW Students: Steps to Obtain Your Social Work License!

As graduation approaches, many students want to know the quickest way to get their Social Work Licenses (LSW).

NASW-NJ has developed a detailed checklist of the steps you must take to get an LSW in New Jersey. The checklist has been reviewed and approved by the NJ Board of Social Work Examiners (BSWE/Licensing Board). We provide this checklist so that you will not need to contact the BSWE to complete your application.

Click here to check out the checklist.
