On August 28, members of the faculty gathered to congratulate each other at the Faculty Author Recognition- eagerly flipping through the pages of the faculty author bibliography to see what their colleagues have been up to in the realm of scholarly publication during the year of 2017. This year marked the 25th anniversary of the celebration representing nearly 20,000 publications collectively and the countless hours behind them from the genesis of an idea, to the background research, to the conduct of a study, to the preparation of a manuscript, editing, proofreading, submitting, revising and finally publication. For the first time this year, all of the publication citations and abstracts were entered into the Touro Scholar repository, the online archive of scholarship produced by all Touro College and University System institutions designed to disseminate and preserve intellectual output, and support individual researchers in maintaining their scholarly legacy. Read the full article on the Faculty Author Event.
