Ms. Neisser is involved in three projects in LA that provide education in the arts to inner-city youth and launch them into careers in television and film. Douglas Eby (2017) is accelerating the development and application of new health care technologies with the Petrie Flom Center's Innovative Funding Models in Translational Research Project. In his new position, Mr. Eby will examine how private investment and support can improve health care.

Gareth Glaser (2017) is working to limit unnecessary gun deaths. Mr. Glaser's LodeStar is developing 'smart guns' that use RFID technology to fire only when the owner is using the weapon.

Tamara Ledley (2017) is raising awareness about climate change. Dr. Ledley gave a recent talk at the American Geophysical Union Meeting and her Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN) was named a 2017 'Friend of the Planet' by the National Center for Science Education.

Mark Mantovani (2016) is challenging for the St. Louis Democratic primary for county executive. Mr. Mantovani will enter a three-person race for the seat with the primary scheduled for August.

Lezli Baskerville (2014) believes that the importance and influence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is continuing to grow in 2018. At the 'State of Black America' Forum of the National Newspaper Publisher Association's annual conference, Ms. Baskerville spoke passionately about the future of HBCUs.

Deborah Jackson (2011) will be the first woman to lead the board of directors for America's oldest and largest mutual bank. Ms. Jackson was named Lead Director of Eastern Bank -- only the second person of color to serve in this role in the bank's 200 year history.

Mike Critelli (2010) is documenting the incredible story of a trailblazer in college athletics. Mr. Critelli produced "From the Rough," a film that shares the story of Dr. Catana Starks, the first minority woman to coach a Division I men's college athletic team.

Ray Jetson (2010) took a critical step in his work to train 1,000 mentors in Baton Rouge. Mr. Jetson led the first training program for MentoringBR, an initiative that aims to provide mentorship for black boys in the city.

Doug Rauch (2010) is scaling the important work of Daily Table. Mr. Rauch opened a second location of his nonprofit retail food store in Roxbury, MA in mid-January.
