This weekend's race, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series "Tales of the Turtles 400", marks the first race of the 2017 NASCAR Playoffs. Matt DiBenedetto will be racing with a turtles scheme of his own, representing the "Samurai" character. With this, the team will be working with Nickelodeon to put together fun segments that will air on Nickelodeon and Nick Sports after the race weekend. Matt DiBenedetto will also make several appearances this weekend with Nickelodeon and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters that will be announced later this week on the Go Fas Racing social media pages.
Home Race for Incredible Bank: Incredible Bank, based in Wisconsin, has their "home-race" this weekend. Matt DiBenedetto will be have an appearance pre-race Sunday promoting their new "auto-fill feature" - allowing customers to apply for online accounts using just a picture of their driver's license. Fans can meet Matt DiBenedetto, check out the new "auto-fill feature" while applying for an account, and enter to win a Go Fas Racing / Incredible Bank Yeti-cooler signed by Matt DiBenedetto! More information on this appearance can be found on the Go Fas Racing Facebook and Twitter pages and Incredible Bank's social media.
DiBenedetto on Chicagoland Speedway: "First off, running this scheme this weekend and working with the people from Incredible Bank and Nickelodeon will be so much fun. Our mile-and-a-half program has been really good this year at Go Fas. In the past, I wouldn't have been very excited for tracks like this one, but with the speed we've had at tracks of this size this year, I'm really excited to hopefully have a good run."
Chassis Info: Crew Chief Gene Nead will be bringing chassis GFR-900 to serve as the primary car this weekend. This chassis last raced at Michigan in early-August.
