SAI welcomes India Country Director
SAI is pleased to welcome Sanjay Kumar to the team. Dr. Kumar will lead SAI's activities in India from the Delhi office. Since 1999, Kumar has served as the Director of SEWA Bharat, a labor union of more than 1.7 million poor self-employed women workers in the informal economy in India, and is an alum of Harvard Kennedy School.
A change called NeHA

In an article for the Indian ExpressSatchit Balsari, HSPH, and Tarun Khanna, SAI/HBS, write that the proposed National e-Health Authority could launch a digital health revolution in India, but safeguards need to be in place to protect patients' privacy. This is in follow up to the recently held Radcliffe Advanced Seminar, "Exchanging Health Information."

Jasmine Chia, Harvard College '18,  started her summer in Myanmar intending to study Vipassana Buddhism, but became fascinated with a different topic: a banking  phenomenon that explains the links between capitalist religion and political engagement.
