In February of 2016, we will take a sacred pilgrimage to Northern India where we will 
travel for 2 weeks through the truly potent places of ancient power that exist in Mother India. Accompanied by a practicing Hindu Teacher, David Joseph, who has dedicated the last 30 years of his life to studying the oldest religion on Earth...we will learn, as we go, about the mythologies which set the stage for the rest of the world's religions. David, our guide, has been to these holy sites many times and they are his spiritual homes. We could not
go with a more generous and knowledgable teacher, who knows where to stay, and the most wonderful things to do at every place that we will visit.
FEB 15: Arrive in New Delhi Airport by 2:30pm so that we can drive to Vrindavan. We will stay at the Ananda Krishna Van hotel for 3 nights as we explore this amazing place which is the birthplace of Lord Krishna and filled with a myriad of potent, gorgeous temples and is teeming with devotees and pilgrims from around the world. Here, David will provide a rich background of Krishna's life and teachings. 
Feb 18: Today, we will fly to Varanasi, where we will be staying for 3 nights in the most peaceful location, at Hotel Divya. We will have quick and easy access to the Ganges River and all the magnificent temples and stairways, known as ghats, down the whole length of the river. We will attend the famous and beautiful evening puja/worship service dedicated to Mother Ganges. Varanasi is the oldest continually inhabited city in the world and is Lord Shiva's sacred city. There is much more 
that we will experience at this ancient place.
Feb 21: After a morning ceremonial boat ride down the Ganges, we will travel to Bohd Gaya, the most holy town in the Buddhist world. We will stay here for 3 nights at the Suma Guest House. The Mahabodhi Temple is magnificent and the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment is at the very center of this special and holy place. Bohd Gaya is filled with pilgrims and many fascinating temples, which represent the very best of all the Buddhist nations. We will spend quiet sessions directly under 
the Bodhi tree meditating and discussing the life and teachings of Lord Buddha.
Feb 24: We fly to Rishikesh, the "Yoga capital of the world" situated on the Ganges river. We will stay at the Hotel Narayana Kunj for 4 nights. The Ganges is just emerging here from the Himalaya foothills and is pristinely clean and filled with sanctity. For three days we will drink deeply from the beauty of this holy city. Rishikesh is the gate through which yogis, sadhus and saints have passed from time immemorial. The entire length of the Ganges is lined with Ashrams and the vibe is exquisite. We 
will stay for 3 days taking side trips to Haridwar, and other special places.
Feb 28: Fly back to New Delhi. Be sure to schedule departing flights after 6:00pm from New Delhi.

This journey has limited space, because the intention is for it to be a profound and intimate study of these ancient, holy places and their accompanying myths; and to experience the local life there as participants, rather than tourists.

We require a $1,000.00 non refundable payment to secure a place on this exclusive trip.
We require full payment by December 15, 2015.
If any member cancels 45 - 60 days prior to arrival on Feb 15, 2016 he/she will be charged cancellation fees of $1,500.00 total.
If any member cancels 44 days prior to arrival on Feb 15, 2016, he/she will be charged full paymentod land package / no refund.
Additional Information:
The extension for the trip to Agra, to visit the Taj Mahal will depart from the New Delhi airport at 3:30 pm on Feb 13. We will spend 2 nights at the 5 Star, Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, a lovely luxury hotel that overlooks the Taj Mahal. We will return to New Delhi in time to meet the rest of the group by 3:30 on Feb 15.
Cost: $800.00; Single: $1,100.00
This includes: Transportation to and from Agra; 2 nights at the Oberoi and entrance to the Taj Mahal. Price does not include: Travel and Health insurance, Amazing luxury Spa services, visa costs, Meals, drinks, laundry, etc, anything not stated as included.
Payment for the extension requires a $500.00 non refundable deposit and final, nonrefundable payment by December 15, 2015
