Foreign Policy magazine named Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj as one of its 15 "Global Thinkers" of the year for "fashioning a novel brand of Twitter diplomacy." Others on the list included German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and American politician Hillary Clinton.

How One Kiosk Provides 300 Different Government Services  
e-Mitra, an e-governance initiative, enables Indian citizens to use online kiosks to access more than 300 government services. Using Common Service Center (CSC) kiosks, citizens in rural or urban areas can access services including payment, certificates and more without having to visit multiple government offices.

Forbes Names Indians to 'Richest US Entrepreneurs Under 40'
Vivek Ramaswamy, a biotechnology entrepreneur and CEO of Roivant Sciences, and Apoorva Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Instacart, have been named in Forbes magazine's second annual list of "America's Richest Entrepreneurs Under 40." Ramaswamy was ranked 24th while Mehta was ranked 31st.

Hanukkah Celebrations Held at Ambassador's Residence         

The Embassy of India celebrated the Jewish festival of Hanukkah at Ambassador Navtej Sarna's residence on December 19 with Ron Dermer, Israel's Ambassador to the US, and more than 200 other guests.
