Sometimes we find we are constantly reminding ourselves to stay grounded and calm.
Yet, the world around us can be chaotic and unpredictable.
As our meditation group met last Friday, a tornado came up during the session.
As it was spinning all around us, and we were feeling the swirling energy, inside the eye of the storm, the center, we were in complete peace and joy.
When you are feeling that things just seem out of our control, become the eye.
When we rise above the emotional outbursts, or the shocking truths, and find that inner peace we so desperately need, we can connect to our 8th Chakra.
There we can discern without judgment or anguish, and see things with a calm demeanor.
See things through that calm eye.
If you just can't make any sense out of it yet, take a step back and do something you love doing.
Go for a drive, connect with a friend, play with your pets.
Detaching is a powerful tool.
Stepping away and re-grouping is incredibly important. It keeps us from emotionally reacting to others emotional outbursts, that can make things quite messy.
Be the calm, peaceful center of the tornado.
When others see you doing this, then others follow suit.
It's catchy :)
I see you!
Can't get out of your head? Are you always thinking?
