Summer Seminars: Fridays & Saturdays in June & July
From cybersecurity to networking, social media, nonprofit management, global entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility and more, the Walker School is offering a series of seminars this summer designed to provide you with relevant insight that enhances your leadership journey. Undergraduate and graduate students can earn one credit hour for each seminar. Community members can also participate for a fee of $150 per seminar. View the seminar schedule and register today!

You're invite to attend the Innovation Summit on Thursday, June 19 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. The event will feature Walker School Associate Dean Pat Masidonski and a panelist of business leaders who will share how they have facilitated innovation in their organizations. Webster University's George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology honored 31 students at its annual Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society of Business induction ceremony in May. Induction into Delta Mu is one of the highest levels of recognition a business student can earn.
In addition to honoring students, Rodger Riney, founder and chief executive officer of Scottrade, and Raymond Bayer, executive director, chief executive officer and assistant secretary of the Missouri Higher Education Learning Authority (MOHELA), were also inducted into Delta Mu Delta. Riney and Bayer were selected for induction by the Walker School as a result of their outstanding achievements and contributions to business. Watch a video of the ceremony.

Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T, was honored as the 2014 Walker CEO of the Year. During his presentation, he shared insights on leading a company that is in constant change. "Randall has successfully guided AT&T from a wire-centric company to a global wireless enterprise," Walker Dean Benjamin Akande said.
