Message from Councilmember Steven Neal

Hello neighbors,

This week I attended the Southern California Association of Governments' "Road to Economic Recovery Summit", where key decision makers from Southern California joined to discuss a regional strategy for our economic recovery. Over the coming months, we will work to ensure that the City of Long Beach has a solid financial plan and a comprehensive strategy to address business vacancy and retention.

I would like to let you know that on Monday, December 13 at 6 p.m. at the Jordan Freshman Academy, I will provide opening remarks for the Power of Community Support and the Role of the Family event. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow neighbors and community representatives to find out about the various resources and activities that are available to you and your family. I invite you to come out, especially if you're a parent of a student t Jordan High School.

Thank you for reading this week's newsletter, have a nice weekend and happy holidays!

Sincerely,
Steven Neal
Councilmember, Ninth District
