Fall Conference, Collaboration and Networking
Greetings!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall season. Fall brings cooler weather, crisp apples, falling leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and our annual Fall Conference.

We just completed the MHSCN/ WHPRMS Fall Joint Conference and it was a great success! For those of you who were able to attend, thank you! I would also like to thank Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Strategy (WHPRMS) for asking us to collaborate with them. This was our first joint conference with WHPRMS. We took a leap of faith and stretched ourselves a bit but it was not without reward. The conference was a perfect blend of relevant education, networking and FUN! I heard nothing but positive feedback from those who attended. There were over 200 attendees and 30 exhibitor/sponsors. The days were jam med packed with options and I left feeling very satisfied with what I learned and excited about the many new friends I made.

Now that the fall conference is over, the Board is busy recruiting candidates for our 2016 MHSCN Board. We have openings in membership, programs, and networking. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, look for more information on our website or in this newsletter. I am happy to speak with any of you about these open positions, the time commitment etc. Just shoot me an email.

Our last networking event of the year is coming up on Tuesday, November 17, at Gilda's Club in Minnetonka. Gilda's Club, named in memory of comedian Gilda Radner, is a national nonprofit organization to help those affected by cancer. This event allows us the opportunity to network and give back to our community. I hope you can join us for this great event. To learn more and register, visit our website or see the detailed information in this newsletter. I hope to see you there.

Until next time, be kind to yourself and others and be sure to take time from your busy lives to enjoy this beautiful time of year.

Sandra Kramer, MHSCN President

As a solutions - based company, Bolger has been delivering results for our clients for over 80 years through industry leading innovations and technological excellence. We  partner with our clients not only for award-winning print, but customized web-based print  management systems for ordering, printing and delivering on-demand.

Some 20 years ago, technology improvements in the printing industry began to change and in order to stay viable as a partner with our clients in healthcare, corporate,  financial, education and the agency world, our on-staff application developers designed  SmartQ® to be an asset to our clients in helping cost effectiveness and communication management.

SmartQ® is Bolger's customized beginning -to-end print management system that centralizes ordering, content, customization, printing, fulfillment and direct mail  campaigns, with one completely integrated interface. Over 300 clients currently utilize  SmartQ®, a great many of them in healthcare. Because of this, Bolger is compliant with  all HIPAA and FWA training, SSAE16/SOC2/Type II Audited and undergoes multiple  client audits annually. We have secure, locked facilities in preparing any sensitive  healthcare information.

SmartQ® is a flexible, custom solution, tailored specifically to your needs. We work closely with you to understand your business, and from there, getting started with  SmartQ® is easy. There's no software to install, no compatibility issues. Just go on-line  and start working.

The power of SmartQ® lies in its flexible add-on pieces. Features like Order Entry and Warehousing allow you to visualize your inventory in a whole new way, and strike the  perfect balance between pre-printed and virtual documents. Manage and interact with  your inventories to help lower storage costs and minimize obsolete inventory. Print  items on-demand, and pull items from your pre-printed inventory using one simple  process.

Variable Direct Marketing and custom collateral are powerful SmartQ® features, making it easier than ever to create customized materials on the fly using your own pre- approved, brand-standard templates. You can take a mailing, marketing collateral, or  business card with dozens of templates, and merge them into one. Variable templates  allow you to store images & text blocks in libraries, quickly swap them in and out of a  branded document, and preview as you build.

SmartQ®'s interactive approval feature is an integrated time-saver, allowing users to approve mailings in real-time. Because it's secure, you can assign users to  multiple levels of access for each project - you control how each user interacts with the  site, helping boost accuracy and maintain strict compliance regulations for your  business.

This same system for direct mail can be merged into SmartQ®'s email campaign feature. You can create pre-approved email templates for e-blasts and  monthly mailings, ensuring that brand-standards and metrics are in place no matter who  creates the final product. SmartQ® also houses an editor for freeform emails when you  need to create a custom piece from scratch. Tracking, testing, database queries, and  interactive user approvals are all fully integrated.

SmartQ® also features robust, easy-to-read reports-fully customizable to your specific reporting and industry requirements. Quickly search and sort records by targeted mail,  campaign, mailing codes, or set up and track metrics using technologies like QR  barcodes and personal URLs.
