New season brings new sails. Jim Gluek and the North Sails Zenda team are ready to deliver sails and help you go faster. There is still time to get fresh gear for 2017. 
The E Scow season is finally here! Melges E Scow sailors will have an exciting month coming up: The Charleston Spring Regatta and the Black Tie will lead the way for a very active E Scow summer. The Melges Team will be on site at the Black Tie delivering new gear and supporting E Scow and C Scow sailors.

The Sarasota One-Design Midwinters drew 15 boats with Bill Nolden’s LA-11 coming out on top, winning the tie-breaker over Sean Bradley and his brand new Melges E Scow.
The  Melges 14 Midwinter Championship drew 25 boats to Sarasota, Florida to kick off the Melges 14 Tour! The Melges Team has been on the road bringing Melges 14s around the country . New fleets have started at the Lake Lanier Sailing Club in Georgia and the Privateer Yacht Club in Tennessee. Next year, the Melges 14 fleet will head to Sarasota again for the 2018 Melges 14 Midwinter Championship.

Congratulations to Brian Porter and the Full Throttle team on their seventh Melges 24 US National Championship title! A fierce Corinthian competition landed KC Shannon & Shaka atop the Corinthian podium with Brent McKenzie & EX-KAHN in a close second. The Melges 24 US National Championship was the 2017 NorAm Tour opener and Act 2 of the Quantum World Winter Series. The Quantum World Winter Series title will be decided this week at the third and final act – Charleston Race Week. Melges 24 sailors all across the globe have a lot to look forward to this year including the Melges 24 NorAm Championship at the Columbia River Gorge and Melges 24 Worlds in Helsinki, Finland.

Melges 32 and 20 fleets each took their turn putting their skills to the test in Porto Venere, Italy for the launch of the Melges World League European Division. Matteo Balestrero’s Giogi was crowned champion at the very first Melges 32 World League event. The top title in the Melges 20 event went to Vladimir Prosikhin’s Nika. Igor Rytov and the Russian Bogatyrs now lead the Melges 20 World League after 3 events.
After a successful launch in Europe and North America, the Asia/Pacific Division of the Melges 20 World League is eager to start racking up the valuable Melges World League points. The Nippon Cup Hayama Spring Series in Hayama, Japan April 22-23 will lead the way for 5 Asia/Pacific Division events in 2017.
