A Weekly Note from Mayor Herb Roach

What a busy weekend! In addition to the fantastic weather and major tournament at the Family Sports Park, this weekend was packed full of events that were great for O'Fallon and the surrounding area.

On Saturday morning, I attended a celebration at Scott Air Force Base. A large crowd was on hand to recognize the outstanding service of the men and women of the 126th Air Refueling Wing. Governor Rauner and Congressman Mike Bost were two of the elected officials that were on hand. Governor Rauner proclaimed June 2, 2018 as 126th Air Refueling Wing Day in honor of the men and women in this exceptional unit.

Construction Updates
Beginning on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, the intersection of Old Collinsville Road and Milburn School Road closed for the construction of a roundabout. It is anticipated that most work will be completed and the road will be re-opened to traffic on Friday, August 10, 2018, weather permitting.

Please be patient and cautious.  Many improvements in various locations throughout O'Fallon are underway or about to begin.  We apologize for any inconveniences but SAFETY of both the general and public workers is our main concern.  Closures are unfortunately inconvenient, but necessary to bring these projects to timely completion.
