A Note From Heather:

Well, it's official. I have been at the helm of this ministry for a full year.

God continues to bless CWA, using it to meet needs in the lives of Christian Women online through friendship, networking and mentorship.

It is my privilege to serve each of you. I love my job. I love watching what God is doing in the lives of women who are passionately following after Him.

We've had some changes over the year, but God has been faithful. I want to invite you to drop by cwaradio.com and cwareviewcrew.com to check out our new look. Come connect with me in the community.

Thank you for a beautiful year.

Sincerely,

Heather Randall

Getting to Know Evonne Mandella

Allow me to introduce you to Evonne Mandella, our video genius. If you haven't met her yet, you're missing a true treasure.

Evonne is smart, talented and an overall exceptional person.

I had a chat with her recently about her video interests.  Keep reading to see what inspires her to use her video skills.

What got you interested in designing book trailers and promotional videos?

It really started from my own need. I am also a writer and wanted to share my work in an exciting way.

I began to research ways to make videos to promote my products. I immediately fell in LOVE with the process!

When I realized all that one could share with just the right moving images, text, and the perfect song, I became "hooked!"

I know you collect images to use for video. What sort of images really excite you?

As a Believer, I love inspirational style images. Images that convey worship and emotion always catch my eye. We are not only presenting a video, we are presenting an experience for our viewers.

Have you ever created your own images to use on videos?

There are times when clients need that extra something special to create the vision they have for their "perfect" video.  I remember one client who had an image in mind of a beautiful cross, combined with an American flag. With a little graphic design "magic" we created an image the client loved! This really helped the video share her vision just as she imagined it!

How long does it take you to make the average video?

The professional software I use creates eye catching videos that get praised! Because we use designer templates, our video creations happen very quickly! We ask for a 14 day window to create your video. However, we often create the videos even quicker! I love the feeling of providing clients their "dream" video and work diligently to get videos to clients quickly and efficiently!

What sort of clients excite you?

I like to knowing I am helping a cause. So, if a client has ministry, a Christian novel, or a charity they support I feel really good inside knowing in a small way, I am a part of that! I also make videos for Christian television that truly are an inspiration to make!

I know that you are a compulsive learner and a natural teacher. What is one great tip you can give to businesses, speakers and authors who would like you to create a video for them?

So many people sit on the edge of their dreams, when they are so close to realizing them. I just want to take people by the hand and bring them over the finish line! My best advice is "DO IT!" Follow that dream! Go for it!

Meet Radio Host, Kathryn C. Lang

Kathryn C. Lang is a natural born Hopesmith that lives and writes in a little cabin in the woods in North Alabama. Her encouragement and support (and often her materials) come from her loving children and husband (and best friend for more years then either want to admit).

Her passion for helping others find a life of peace and joy has provided her with opportunities to share her encouragement through her own experiences in words both written and spoken. Kathryn believes that each person has a unique purpose to fulfill. She desires to help others find their own path to that purpose and design. A life lived in purpose will be one filled with peace.

Picture Perfect by Heather Randall

Sometimes I'm not sure if I can handle whatever challenge is coming around the corner. I'm being real with you.

Sometimes I just don't think I'm strong enough.

January was full of turmoil for me spanning all areas of my life; my health, my family, my work, my creativity. I felt spent. Every day was literally a fight to keep moving.

When my mind reeled from setbacks and countless obstacles, my spirit would not quit. One thing propelled me through the month, and it was faith. Faith that the next day would be better, that an answer was coming, that (whatever happened) God was in control and could make it right. Faith.

Faith is defined in scripture and I like the definition a whole lot better than Webster's. Hebrews 11:1 tells us "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

That leads us to hope. Hope is longing, aspiration, and a willingness to stick it out until the answer comes. Hope and patience are tied. Romans 8:25 says "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." Hope fulfilled takes time. As I waited for antibiotics to kick in, I was hoping for health. As you wait on your miracle, you hold onto a hope that keeps you on your toes. Hope is expectation.

When faith says "I know it will be" hope is looking around the corner waiting for the arrival of blessing.

And then we have love. Love is the glue, the reason for our faith and the essence of our hope.

If nothing in my circumstance changes, I can be assured that it's for my good. Why? Because I have full confidence of God's love.

Because He loves me, He knows what's best for me. He sees the big picture. He has good intentions for my life and I can rest in the knowledge that He has it under control. So, while faith is inspiring and hope is encouraging, it's the love that will hold me together when the day is tough.

Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love.

                                                          1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT

This month is all about the heart. One of my favorite poets, Anne Bradstreet, wrote a line which said "The world no longer let me love. My hope and treasure lies above." As you reflect on the things that capture your heart this month, I pray God would hold the spot at the top. Let Him sweep you off your feet. Swoon.
