Friends make a world of difference. They celebrate with us when we are successful, lift us up when we are down and remind us that we are part of a community.

Friendship is especially important for children experiencing homelessness. They often experience anxiety, trauma and adult worries-- and may have difficulty holding on to friendships due to frequent moves or changing schools multiple times per year.

At Nicholas House, children have the opportunity to build relationships with peers that understand their experiences.
At our after-school program, summer camp and evening activity hours, kids make friendships that can last a lifetime.

Summer camper Jaelyn, age 9, shares: “On the first day of camp, I made a friend. We play a lot with each other—she’s been my best friend because she shares with me.”
Children in Nicholas House programs can make friends because people who care-- people like you-- invest in them. You make our programs possible.

Will you be a friend to children experiencing homelessness by making a gift today?

Your gift will support Nicholas House programs for homeless children and their families, including housing, case management, adult education, youth services and more.

This is the last email of the  Nicholas House Inspire Campaign .

This special drive will help support and sustain wrap-around programs for vulnerable children and parents experiencing homelessness.

Please consider making an impact with your gift today!
We're Wild for Our Volunteers!
On August 11, a group of volunteers joined us for an appreciation trip to Zoo Atlanta. We loved sharing the experience with them!

We are deeply grateful to volunteers who commit over 6,000 hours each year to assisting Nicholas House and the homeless families we serve.
