Subscribe to the Momentum for Change Podcast

Last week we launched the Momentum for Change Podcast, a twice-monthly podcast profiling positive, transformative climate action stories from across the globe. 

Every other week, host Sarah Marchildon interviews a representative from one of our Lighthouse Activities, talking about their climate action initiative and getting an update on recent progress.

The inaugural episode discusses upcycling in Ghana with the Recnowa Initiative. Give it a listen and subscribe to it in the iTunes podcast directory.

Rewarding energy innovation

We wanted to share some news from our colleagues at the Zayed Future Energy Prize:

The US$ 4 million Zayed Future Energy Prize recognizes and rewards achievement in renewable energy and sustainability. In six years, the Zayed Future Energy Prize has honoured 30 large and small companies, non-governmental organisations, individuals and high schools worldwide. 

Since winning, Prize winners have trained thousands of women as green technicians, delivered solar home systems to millions in Bangladesh, created access to safe drinking water to millions in Africa and funded university scholarships for students around the world.

Submissions are open until July 14.
