This series airs every weeknight on IPTV Learns at 10:00 p.m. This month, Bill Nye encourages kids to ask interesting questions around the physical sciences, and then shows students how to discover fascinating, thought-provoking answers.

Martha Speaks: The Heart of a Hero 

Grade Level: K-2

Aimed at students ages four through seven, Martha's educational goal is to strengthen kids' vocabulary. In this ICN session, based on the Reading Buddies program, students will watch a short episode of Martha Speaks, play a game, read a story, and write a short journal entry: all based on chosen vocabulary words.

Munch My Math

Grade Level: 1-4

In this hands-on ICN session, presenters lead students in a variety of edible math activities. Students will create bar graphs representing their favorite brand of cereal, build an abacus, and create their own math equations, while having the chance to eat their work! The session provides excellent opportunities for estimating, sorting, comparing, adding, subtracting, and finding patterns.
