We join our community in mourning the recent passing of Duane Roth, CEO of CONNECT. I was fortunate to work with Duane on various initiatives including our support of their CONNECT Innovation Report. Duane was also very supportive of our summer youth employment initiative, C2C-SD helping us to reach out to hundreds of businesses in the innovation sector - enabling our young adults to be exposed to fascinating and fulfilling careers. Duane was the consummate professional and leader. As a colleague and friend, he was always an absolute pleasure. Our region has been blessed to benefit from his time with us - and the great legacy that he leaves for us to carry on.

Peter Callstrom

Sincerely,
