International travel, state budget
on mind of tourism officials

Members of a state travel and tourism commission are eyeing the international tourism market while fretting over the outcome of annual state budget deliberations on Beacon Hill. Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism Executive Director Francois-Laurent Nivaud said the office is working to determine which tourism markets it can tackle and how to do so effectively. Polhemus Savery Dasilva wins 2017 Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Award
Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders are the recipient of a 2017 Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Award. The winners were announced at the 11th annual Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards program on June 14, 2017, at Northeastern University's Boston Campus. Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod seeks Executive Director
The Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod has announced that they are searching for their first Executive Director. The Board run organization has been in existence since 1991 and has been managed at times by a part time Program Coordinator, and then completely by the Board since 2012. Read more here.  
Consigning Women sold to long-time employee
Mary Martin, Founder of Consigning Women in Harwich and Brewster, is pleased to announce the sale of her retail business to new owner, Michelle Meuter. The award winning consignment business was started in 2005 with one location in Harwich. They expanded to a second location in Brewster in 2013. Michelle Meuter has worked with Mary at Consigning Women for the past six years. Read more here.
