Greetings!

Opportunity! Join the Sex::Tech Advisory Board

For those of you who want to be even more involved in sexual education among your peers, ISIS, an organization that empowers youth to do just that, wants YOU on their board.

ISIS has seen the wonderful things that the Me @ 30 Action Network has done and wants to recruit you for this opportunity. See below for more information.

If you're interested, email us at MeAtThirty@gmail.com and we can help you apply. The first deadline is May 13.

ISIS is currently accepting applications for its first-ever class of leaders to serve on the Board, and we want to invite you to spread the word among the youth leaders (18-22 years old) you work with at the National Council of Negro Women and through the Me@30 campaign. We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis via an online application process, with the deadline for the first selection tier set for May 13th.

Overview of ISIS' Youth Sex::Tech Board

The ISIS Youth Sex::Tech Board seeks to bring together a group of committed and talented young leaders from across the country. The Board will provide a formal mechanism through which youth leaders across the country can deepen their leadership skills and experience while contributing valuable inputs on the use of technology to advance adolescent sexual health. According to ISIS' recent white paper, TECHsex USA: Youth Sexuality and Reproductive Health in the Digital Age, youth are among the highest users of technology and new media, with 93% owning a cell phone and 80% using social networks.  In spite of high usage rates, youth have limited influence on the design of technology-based sexual health interventions created to serve them. We want to change this by providing a formal platform upon which youth can influence the design and application of today's web and mobile technology-based interventions so they are better able to address their needs.  Please refer to the Board one-pager to learn more about the opportunities provided to Board  members.
