Why Donate to Carver?
Giving to Carver shows your support of our diverse programs. As a public Waldorf school, we rely on donations to provide funding for all the "extras" for our students every day such as the high-quality art supplies students use every day in their classes. Your donations have helped pay for a music program, the mobile kitchen and chalkboards. Our next goal is shaded outdoor seating! Please consider making a donation to Carver.

Nominate a Teacher!
The Sacramento Unified Education Foundation is hosting its first ever Student Choice Awards program to honor inspiring teachers in the Sacramento City Unified School District at a gala on Thursday, May 18 at Memorial Auditorium.

This week, students and the district launched a social media campaign to nominate their most inspiring teachers to be recognized at the gala. Using the hashtag #SCUSDTAG, students throughout the district are using their social media to share with their networks which teacher(s) they would like to see recognized at the event.

The gala will celebrate all teachers and recognize inspiring nominees. Community members may also nominate a teacher for recognition at the event by purchasing a ticket for the gala. Proceeds will benefit foundation-supported educational programs in the district.
