INVITATION
Greetings!
City transport will be hot topic in London during the 2012 Olympic Games. We invite you to join us at 'London House' (City Hall), on 16 August, to discuss the future of transport - in cities and beyond.
INVESTING IN FUTURE TRANSPORT, a one day conference, in association with the Mayor of London, will be chaired by Journalist and TV presenter, Quentin Willson. The event will showcase investment opportunities and innovation in transport.
The FUTURE ENGINEERING session will focus on future engineering technology, from hybrid drive trains to light weight materials.
FUTURE FUELS will cover advanced biofuels; improvements in the efficiency of fuels for internal combustion and diesel engines and the role of electric vehicles - both battery EVs and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
Other sessions will include FUTURE MARKETS (looking at opportunities in the 'bric' economies and fast growth Asian markets); CITY TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE (a topic close to the heart of Londoners!) and INTELLIGENT VEHICLES AND TELEMATICS. There will also be a special focus on the role of motor sport in promoting 'eco' innovation in the transport industry.
The Cleantech Investor FUTURE TRANSPORT CHALLENGE will involve 'Dragon's Den' style pitches by companies with innovative transport solutions.
