Join Center for Constitutional Rights
& special guests for the
world premiere screening of Waiting for Fahd

"Tucked amid the jagged mountain ranges of Yemen resides the sleepy town of Bayt Ghazy. Home to an idyllic agrarian community, it also provides the backdrop for the heartrending documentary "Waiting for Fahd," which tells the story of Fahd Ghazy, a Yemeni national unlawfully detained at Guant´┐Żnamo since he was 17. Fahd is now 30.

Through moving interviews with his beloved family, "Waiting for Fahd" paints a vivid portrait of the life that awaits a man who, despite being twice cleared for release, continues to languish at Guant´┐Żnamo, denied his home, his livelihood, and his loved ones because of his nationality."

Invitations from our friends:
Today is the big day! Food Chains opens in theaters across the country. We will keep this message short and sweet by giving you three ways that you can participate in tomorrow's campaign.

1. Join us in theaters and on the streets. Working with the Alliance for Fair Food and our campaign partners, screenings will be paired with panel discussions with experts and activists, and protests and marches to Publix and Wendy's. Bring a friend and join a protest with us. For a full list of events  click here.

2. Help us premiere as #1 on iTunes. Did you know it only takes about 300 pre-orders to premiere on the iTunes best-sellers list? We were shocked! That's totally something we can do - with your help of course. By reaching that #1 homepage spot, millions of people that visit iTunestomorrow to watch a movie will see Food Chains, possibly for the first time. This is a huge opportunity to get the film in front of new people. So help us and please  pre-order the film now.

 3. Tell the World. The release of Food Chains presents an opportunity to bring the story of the CIW and the Fair Food Program to new audiences. But to reach them we have to extend beyond the choir. Please forward this email or post a message on your personal and professional Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages (see below). You can grab awesome memes from  this album.

Thank you,
