First Parent Digital Citizenship Night
October 16th @ 7 PM
Please join us for a new parent-only program on  Developing Digital Citizenship: A Shared Responsibility on Monday, October 16  th  at 7 p.m . We know that citizenship in the digital age is important to both parents and teachers, and working together on this issue is essential to creating a positive culture for your children at home, and for our students in school.   The program will be held in our beautifully remodeled HS/MS Library Media Center .  Parents will engage with teachers and staff to “walk-through” the K-12 digital citizenship curriculum. The evening will also include educational interactive activities for parents. Our experts will be here to answer all of your questions. Please RSVP below by Friday so we can plan ahead!
Presenters:
Instructional Technology Coach Jennifer Cronk from Lower Hudson Regional Information Center (LHRIC), and Teachers Jessica Bauer (Springhurst), Jen Hickey (DFMS) and Michael Meagh (DFHS)
Parent resources available through Common Sense Media  and other easily accessible materials will be shared and discussed. This program addresses real challenges that families and schools face in helping our children become good digital citizens.
We need your help in supporting safe and responsible technology use!
