Florida Now Home to 35 Distilleries
Despite its thriving craft-beer scene, the Sunshine State is a relative newcomer to the nation’s craft-distillery boom. It’s one of the first batches of rye whiskey being brewed at Oakhurst Spirits, the first craft distillery, Benbrook says, to ever open in Fresno or Madera County. (Sierra Star)

Idaho Distillers Celebrate Their Craft

Craft distillers in Idaho last year formed the Idaho Distillers Association to showcase their products and craft; while it’s relatively small compared to the craft distilling industry in neighboring states including Washington, Oregon and Montana, the new association already has nine distillery members from around the state.
