BOB HARRIS - With more than 150,000 associations and chambers in the US, Bob Harris, CAE, has been called a guru and Sherpa. For 30 Years, Bob has guided associations and chambers to increase performance and set a direction.  Bob is on the faculty of the US Chamber, teaching at the Institute for Organization Management, a great mentor to everyone.
LETTER TO YOUR BOARD MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS – Bob has written a personal letter of invitation to your board members and volunteers. Please send this letter to your volunteers and encourage them to attend the conference. This may give them a better understanding of your chamber from the perspective of the volunteer leaders and professional staff. 

ANNUAL MEETING – Besides Bob’s presentation, we will hold our annual meeting and introduce scholarship winners.

ICCE SCHOLARSHIPS - APPLY NOW!

Your budgets should be ready to go for 2018 and you are on your way to a wonderful year with lots of ideas for your members. Attending a conference is a great way to brainstorm new ideas for your members and ICCE wants to help you make that possible. ICCE strives to be the preferred choice of Iowa Chamber Executives and staff for pr ofessional development and industry enhancement. In that spirit, ICCE is offering scholarships for four conferences.

One of the highest ranking areas of the ICCE programming survey was to deliver webinars and training. We are offering you a new webinar series from industry expert Cathi Hight to show you the most relevant and impactful information for your chamber.

What makes your city or neighborhood an attractive place where we might want to live? Perhaps you’ve read  Where We Live: Communities for All Ages  which is AARP’s free book highlighting more than 100 initiatives that mayors nationwide have launched to improve their communities, respond to pressing issues, and build partnerships. AARP Iowa wants to create an ‘All Iowa’ edition of the book for use by civic leaders and city professionals across the state.
