Scott County Child Care Centers Recognized
 
At a time when so many families are concerned about finding quality child care, four Scott County child care and preschool centers were recently recognized for their quality improvements and growth. With help from First Children's Finance, Scott County Kids Early Childhood Iowa and the Iowa Department of Human Services, each of the centers assessed their child care business operations, developed a business improvement plan, and received grant funds to support the implementation of significant improvements through the Scott County Growth Fund Program.  
 
How Can Someone Else Use the Photo I Posted on Social Media?! (It's in the Fine Print)

Social media is a powerful tool and the benefits should not be overlooked. Child care providers can use social media to communicate with parents and parents can use it to share milestones with family and friends. Photos are especially fun to share on social media and once the child care provider posts them anyone can have access to share or use them again.

Using a watermark on your child care program photos is not only one way to deter those that don't have permission to use them, but it can also be a great way to market! To do this, simply add the name of your program or your website "on top" of your photos using  photo editing software on your computer, phone, or tablet.
