March 9, 2017

Congratulations to the members of the Italian Culture Club as they celebrated
their  10th Anniversary on Wednesday, March 8. Led by Avalon resident Terri Breslin, members  meet monthly to discuss news, history, art, and more from the Italian Culture. Members  are encouraged to share notes from recent travels to the area, and enjoy a number of  special events including movie nights, opera night, morning coffee and even field trips.

Whether your roots grow in Italy or you just enjoy the language and the culture, this is
definitely a fascinating group to join. Check It Out ! The Italian Culture Club meets on the
second Wednesday of every month at 3:30pm (except July and August). For more
information, you can often find Terri working the circulation desk at the Library or by
calling 609-967-7155.

Join us March 18 at 1pm as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a performance by the Emerald Isle Academy of Irish Dance. These talented and award-winning dancers have traveled the globe to perform, and have won a number of World and All-Ireland titles. They will join the library to showcase a variety of dances including reels and jigs from beginner to advance. Get your toes tapping and Check It Out!
