January 23: Social Studies and English
January 24: Language and Religion
January 25: Science and Math

Each day we will follow a similar schedule . The first exam will start at 8:25. The second exam will start at 10:05. Dismissal will be at 11:30. Students who have already qualified for extended time accommodations will receive separate instructions.

Students should make every effort to be in school each day for Midterms. Only an absolute emergency should keep a student from taking the midterm exam on the scheduled day. Parents should call the attendance office by 8:00 AM any day an emergency prevents a student from taking the exam.  Make-up exams will be given on January 26, 2018.

Attendance Reminder :  It is important to note that because regular attendance is so important, students whose absences are excessive will receive failing grades in each of his/her courses for the current semester.  A student who is absent ten (10) days in one semester without providing acceptable verification of those days will receive a grade of 65 for each course.  Each additional absence will result in a further deduction of 5 points for the semester.
****Examples of acceptable verification of absence are doctor's note for illness, court documents for legal appointments, funeral card or obituary for bereavement days, and official college notes for college visits.

College Application Transcript Requests
Attn: Senior Students and Parents
Just a reminder that there is a fee charged for transcripts sent to colleges.  The first 3 are free, additional transcripts are $2 each.  Please monitor Naviance for fees.  Students can submit payment to the guidance office.
From the Nurse's Office
Parents are reminded that all Juniors need a physical.  Please schedule appointments if physicals haven't been returned yet and return completed forms to the nurse's office.

If a sports physical becomes a year old during a sport season, there is a 10-day grace period from the date of the last physical to obtain a new one.  If no physical is returned at the end of the 10-day grace period, the athlete must sit out of sports until a new physical is returned and cleared.  If possible, a courtesy reminder will be sent from the nurse's office, but as noted in the student handbook, it is the responsibility of the student/parent to ensure sports physicals are current.

Please contact Mrs. Veneziani in the nurse's office with any questions.
